Salad in a jar! Isn't it pretty! Don't you want to dump it onto your plate & eat it!
At long last I signed up for Pinterest. I started with pins about self care and found this neat little lunch idea. Layering a salad in a jar - lovely to look at it waiting in my fridge, just portable enough for my morning commute, and spills out on the plate as a delicious tossed salad. Yes, I know, I could just as easily use tupperware but I do love the way this looks.
I lined up five empty quart jars. Dropped in salad fixings, then dressing, then greens, and adding any leftovers into a spare container for suppers. Pack it into my backpack and I'm the envy of my coworkers. Eating healthfully is a little more attractive and novel this way.
